Pastor Stephen Rose has retired from his counseling ministry, with the
exception of Pastors within the District and International Workers.

For this he will not charge a fee for counseling and can counsel using Zoom.

WGLD Polity Course - September 2026

If you are pursuing ordination through The Alliance, completion of a C&MA Polity course is required. While many available courses span several weeks and involve significant coursework and expense, the Western Great Lakes District is pleased to offer a one-day Polity Course as a convenient alternative.

This pilot course will provide the required polity training in a single day and is designed to help candidates fulfill this ordination requirement efficiently.

Time: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

(Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.)

Cost: $50 (payable by check on the day of the event)

Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Attendance for the entire course is required to receive credit.
This course is being offered as a pilot program and may not be repeated in the future.

This is a fascinating way to brush up on your Greek, engage in theological word studies, and be taught God’s word!

If you attend, the WGLD will pay the first $300. Then, for the remaining $325 of a double room, we will pay ½ of that ($162.50) IF an individual rooms with another accredited person from our district who is attending the seminar.

If you opt for a single room, or plan to bring your spouse we will still pay the first $300 but you will be on your own for the remaining amount.
