*B & K

B and K MM workers serving the Middle East/North Africa region by providing affordable design services to like-minded groups. B is an architectural engineer managing projects, leading project marketing and development efforts, and overseeing the construction department of our local business. Zach & Anna Osbrink

Senegal

Zach, Anna, Mae and Reuben have launched to France for language studies beginning January of 2026 and then from there they will be serving in Senegal, West Africa. Together, they are following God's clear invitation on their lives to pursue international work with a family of their own. They will be serving with CAMA Services south of the capital city in Senegal where they will, God willing, be working with agricultural ministries and women who have suffered human trafficking.

They have served as the youth director family in Menomonie, Wisconsin since 2023 which has been one of the sweetest seasons of their lives.

*S & K

Europe

S & K married after college, realizing their mutual call to the least reached, who otherwise have no chance to hear the Good News. Leaving their homeland of Minnesota & Wisconsin behind, they followed the Lord overseas as part of a new team in 2008. Tough living conditions were more than made up for by seeing how God had been there long before, paving the way for precious people to receive the Good News. 3 babies and 10 years later, health concerns forced relocation, so their family joined an Alliance church planting team in Europe.

Still based in Europe, they now work at a regional level to help Alliance teams stay organized, live out prayerful and effective strategies, and maintain solid team relationships. Additionally they are involved in local ESL and refugee ministries, trusting God for friends and neighbors to become disciples. In their downtime, S enjoys history, hiking, woodworking, and cheering for the Chicago Cubs. K loves her dog, cooking, and meaningful time with people. Their 3 fun, talented, pizza-loving kids are in the 12th, 10th, and 8th grades, respectively.

*J&J

Middle East

J and J have been serving in the Middle East  since 2017. Having always  been part of the sending of other workers, they realized later in life that our Father was calling them into His global work as well.
Their main role is managing an English Center where they focus on building relationships and pouring love into each student. It has been a true gift for them to see first hand as our Father transforms lives that were previously facing a Christ-less eternity. Doing individual Studies from the Book is definitely a highlight for both J and J.

They have 4 children (three are married) and 6 grandchildren.

Rob & Heidi Scott

Kosovo

Rob and Heidi Scott are serving in Prishtina, Kosovo in Southeastern Europe. They both grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin and were called to mission in their 40’s. They have two daughters, Eliana and Malia and have served with the CMA since 2021.

Their first two years were dedicated to learning the Albanian language, culture, and history. God opened the door to ministry opportunities at a community center, where they have been teaching English, Leadership classes, and helping with outreach events. In June, 2023, they both stepped into leadership roles at the center and are praying for God’s wisdom in developing young leaders and more connection points in the community. The center is a bridge between their non-believing neighbors and the local church through a comfortable gathering/coffee space, education and programs.

*S & W

Eastern Europe

S&W have been serving the Lord in one capacity or another for most of their lives since He called them into ministry at age 10. W grew up as a TCK in Brazil while S grew up in Arizona. While they both graduated from Moody in Chicago, they met while serving on a one year missions trip in Kazakhstan.

S&W served in the WGL at Plymouth Alliance Church from 1998 to 2001. They were sent out by PAC and the WGL to serve overseas with the Alliance in 2003. They served in their first country of service for about 19 years before being forced to leave that country due to the outbreak of war in their region.

Since leaving their initial country of service they served in one Eastern European country for almost a year before settling in their current country of service. They are serving in a local church-plant among refugees and immigrants as well as helping with the development of the national Alliance church in other nearby countries.

S&W have four adult children all residing and working in the greater Phoenix area.

Middle East Update March 1-2.jpeg

Kenny and Mel Chi

Mexico

Kenny and Mel serve in Mexico after being commissioned last year for service with CAMA. They can testify to how God has been preparing them throughout their lives for overseas missions.  They’ve been exploring serving together since they were married, speaking to the challenges they’ve faced in trying to find a sending organization that aligned with their giftings and talents. All while honoring Kenny’s legal blindness.

As they look ahead to what their future ministry could look like, they would love to serve people with disabilities because they’re an unreached people group and there’s not a lot of resources in other countries for them like they have here.

These people are often overlooked or they don’t have value, so going just as who they are, they can show people that they, too, have value and that they can be a productive member of society and the Church.

Jeff and Jannette Thrane

Senegal

Jeff and Jannette Thrane  have served with the C&MA since 2008 in both youth, associate, and lead pastoral roles in Iowa and Wisconsin. They have two adult sons, one daughter-in-law, and four amazing kids who call them grandpa and grandma.

In 2023, the Lord called them, in their mid-50s, to serve as international workers in

Western Africa. After a year of French language learning in France, they arrived (Sept. 2025) at the recently (2024) launched ENVISION Senegal site. ENVISION Senegal's purpose is to identify and develop missional leaders through short-term missions opportunities and innovative ministry strategies. They look forward to accomplishing their goals through discipleship and working alongside their CAMA, Marketplace Ministries, and aXcess partners so people will have the chance to hear about Jesus, make that decision, and become mature followers of Christ.

Jeff and Jannette invite you to experience God’s heart for the nations by visiting them at the ENVISION Senegal site, through a short-term missions trip, an internship, or even through their newly developed residency program. Visit https://weareenvision.com/ to find out more!
